Pastor Jeremiah Bradford

A Missouri native, I was born south of St. Louis and lived most of my life in Kansas City. I was born-again and baptized in 1988. In high school, I rededicated my life to Christ and experienced a call to ministry. Since then I have been active in local church ministry as a youth pastor and senior pastor. I also spent two years as a missionary in East Asia. I was licensed and ordained by First Baptist Church of St. Joseph, MO.

I am a graduate of Missouri Western (English Literature, 2002) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2008 and M.A. in Biblical Languages, 2011). Currently I am a student of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Theology).

Kenan and I met and fell in love as Journeyman missionaries (IMB) in East Asia. We were married on November 4, 2006 upon our return to America. Growing up in a Christian home, Kenan was born-again and baptized as a young person. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University (Communication, 2003) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A. in Counseling, 2011). The Lord blessed us with five children: Miriam (March 14-22, 2008), Emsleigh (6), Kesed (4), Haddon (2), and Eleanor (3 months). As a family, we enjoy playing outside, board games, puzzles, as well as trips to the library, museums, and zoos. We like having movie nights at home and reading books together.

I’ve been privileged to serve as a senior pastor for nearly nine years now. I strive to care for the entire church family, those of all ages and places in life. My aim in pastoring is to glorify God by preaching and teaching the Bible, shepherding the congregation, and leading the church in the Great Commission. My heart is for the church to be unified as we love one another and take the Gospel to the lost.

“Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think-according to the power that works in you-to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Yours in Christ,
Pastor Jeremiah Bradford
