Worship

"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5:19-20 NIV)

What Is Worship?

We were created for worship! This really is the ultimate reason for our existence-the worship of God. The very purpose of the existence of the universe is to bring Glory to God, and he created us so that we would see this glory and and in return give God the praise, glory and worship HeChoirSpecial3 deserves -- with all our heart and soul and mind and strength.
Worship is not a performance. Worship is not a style of music. Worship is the intersection of our lives with our Creator. It is our opportunity to tell God how worthy and awesome He is, and just how much we need Him.

Our Worship StyleChoir--Hands

Because we are a multi-generational church, we strive to give everyone an opportunity to worship in a way that expresses the language of his or her heart. Both services offer blended worship--a mix of contemporary praise and worship songs along with the powerful hymns of our faith. We are led in worship by a praise band, a worship orchestra, and the Worship Choir. When we worship together, people have the freedom to express themselves genuinely--from quiet, contemplative singing, to clapping, to raising hands in praise. True worship is not wrapped up in the form of the worship service or style of music. Instead, it is defined by a genuine "heart and head" expression of our love for and devotion to our Lord.
